On 9-10 November 2011, the 9th Annual Meeting of the European Film Agency Research Network (EFARN) took place at the French National Centre of Cinematography (CNC) in Paris. The main topic under discussion was the issue of collecting data in the field of film and broadcasting. Researchers shared their experience of monitoring markets in film distribution, home video, and television broadcasting, as well as the emerging VoD sector. The European Audiovisual Observatory's plan for implementing a project on a European level to collect data on the VoD market came under scrutiny.
This was the second time Russia was represented at an EFARN annual meeting. As in 2010, the Russian Federation was represented by Ksenya Leontieva, Senior Analyst at NEVAFILM RESEARCH, on behalf of The Ministry of Culture.
